In compliance with the instructions received of Messrs. CAVE & Co Ltd. on behalf of P&I Club, we
certify that we UNITED SURVEYS CHILE have carried out a loading supervision of Copper
concentrate according to IMSBC CODE on board the vessel.

2. WEATHER CONDITIONS
2.1 WEATHER CONDITIONS
The atmospheric conditions during the survey were good; the inspection was carried out without
any restriction. No rain or strong wind or heavy swell was observed during this survey.
3.
INSPECTION REPORT
According instruction received from P&I the scope to be inspected was as follow:

To carried out a survey loading supervision of Copper concentrate according to IMSBC CODE
on board the vessel GEORGIOS S.
3.1.
PRE-LOADING INSPECTION

On board the vessel, our Surveyor met with the Vessel´s Master prior to loading operations.
Vessel´s Master receipt all information of cargo, pre-shipment certificate (in order), shipper’s
declaration with abstract of recommendations of IMSBC code, regarding to operations with this
type of cargo. Additionally our surveyor provides recommendations to Vessel´s Master.

Access to stockpile was denied to external Surveyors by internal Codelco Terminal´s safety
procedures.

Pre-shipment Certificate Nr. PVE-10-1636/2018 PVE-10-1637/2018 was issued by SGS
Laboratories on behalf of Messrs. Anglo American Sur, Chile..



On board the vessel, our Surveyor met with the Vessel´s Master prior to loading
operations. Vessel´s Master receipt all information of cargo, pre-shipment certificate (in
order), shipper’s declaration with abstract of recommendations of IMSBC code, regarding
to operations with this type of cargo. Additionally our surveyor provides
recommendations to Vessel´s Master.

4. INSPECTION OF CARGO HOLDS
Inspection of holds Nr. 1 & 4 was performed jointly with shipper representative and Chief Officer.
Hold was found dry and clean. Hold was approved by shipper’s surveyor.
Our inspector found the hold in good condition, clean & dry. Tank top plating and bulkheads were
found and without signs of water. Bilge covers were found with the seal.

LOADING OPERATIONS
Loading operations was performed using a conveyor belt feeder located inside the covered
warehouse. The cargo was transported by the belt conveyor at an average rate of 800 to 1000
wmt per hour approximately. Conditions of the material during this transportation remained good.

7. CONDITION OF CARGO
7.1 CONDITION OF CARGO
In Cargo Holds Nr.1 & 4, the cargo showed no apparent dirt and/or foreigner materials. The cargo
is in clean condition.
The condition of cargo was inspected during all loading operation and did not present any sign of
apparent contamination. Furthermore, the cargo presented a dry fine granular appearance,
without water puddles standing on it.

8. CAN TEST
8.1
CAN TEST
In order to ascertain mechanically the Transportable Moisture Limit (TML) of copper concentrates
loaded onboard MV. GEORGIOS S it was performed can test. Disposed sample of copper
concentrates (0.5 to 2 kg) in a cylinder recipient to be lifted and drop on to a hard surface about 25
times from 20 cm (height) with intervals of 1 or 2 seconds. Afterwards, we could observe the
surface of product without abnormalities and Transportable Moisture Limit (TML) according to
“International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargo Code (IMSBC) recommendations”.
Cant test was carried out in cargo holds Nr. 1 & 4, finding the cargo without alterations regarding to
the moisture presence.

9. CONCLUSIONS

Cargo Holds Nr. 1 & 4 were found clean, dry and suitable for receiving the copper
concentrates in bulk.

In Cargo Holds Nr 1 & 4, the cargo showed no apparent dirt and/or foreigner material had
been observed. The cargo is in apparently and superficially cleans condition.

Parameters of Pre-shipment certificate stated that cargo was suitable for transportation.

Can test was performed in cargo holds Nr. 1 & 4, finding the cargo without alterations
regarding to the moisture presence.

Vessel’s Master was informed during all time about loading procedure and IMSBC Code
recommendations. Copper concentrates were loaded under our continual supervision.

The final moisture ascertained, as per moisture method for the Copper cargo loaded
10,449.480 wmt was 8,72% for LH1. And 11,611.250 wmt was 7,79% for LH4. (Moisture
certificate is attached to this report. Ventanas Port, Holds Nr 1 & 4)
