STUDENT: JULY VENTURA CONDO THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Lima has a really bad trasportation system. The public transport in Lima is chaotic. Firstly, there’s always traffic here and the buses are usually full. Secondly, there are many roads in poor condition. Finally, there are many intersections without traffic lights. I think that the transport system is bad because it is not fully integrated. Thus, each district has different types of transportation that do not complement each other. In addition, the tracks are not well marked with transit signs, and the municipalities do not regularly maintain the roads. As a result of all these problems, people spend a lot of time in traffic. Due to the traffic, they have to leave a long time in advance to arrive at a place on time, but even so, they still arrive late sometimes so they prefer to go on foot if the place is close by.
