Vitalis is an asset management company who also offers Private Pensions Plans for all type of costumers. Here in Mexico, Vitalis has opened, 2 funds on Actinver, abroad, Vitalis has opened 3 SICAVS on Luxemburg and 1 more in Spain. My main responsibility is to arrange and execute all the daily operation for each client, such as equity, fixed income, and exchange operations, as well as some options for specific client requirements. My workday starts at 7 in the morning, due to debt market opens at 6:30, I seek the best rates for repurchase agreements operations. For this kind of operations, I need to consider the daily cash flow so the client can afford all his daily settlements. Next, I follow with Equity and Exchange, at the same time, my team are working on recording the daily movements for each client on our database, so we can make the daily, weekly and monthly reports. I collaborated with the CFO and the accounting area to accomplish the year budget and forecast At the end of the day, we start, to prepare our cash flows for the next day operations. I think I’m a good fit for the position because I have strong experience on finance, specifically in operations tasks. I have developed analytical skills who are needed for this kind of position, where is no room for mistakes, and the work had to be done as quickly as possible. I am certificated by AMIB, so I think, it can be useful for transactions. A time when I overcame a challenge. I remember some months ago, during a securities auction, custody bank sent us an incorrect amount for settlement, so we upload this incorrect amount, the operation was cleared, but we had more transactions pending and no more cash, and I haven’t noticed until the market was closed, so I resolved the issue by negotiating with the bank to they got our pending transactions for us, just for that day because that wasn’t our mistake. My goals are: reach to a directive position and became the man who call the shots (who take important desitions) I consider myself a responsible person, persistent person. Weakness Giving myself hard time and the deadline to finish work I want to move on because I want to keep improving myself Could you please tell me what is like to work for Mizuho as an International Bank here in Mexico ?
