THE FEMINIST MOVEMENT ORIGIN The origin of feminism was in the late nineteenth century, at the beginning of the movement. The struggle for the right to vote and legal equality was very controversial and generated a great debate in society, so the support it got unlike today was low, as the society of the time widely disapproved and mocked this movement, as women who joined the cause of legal equality and the right to vote faced significant obstacles and oppositions. THE POPULARITY OF THIS MOVEMENT IS GLOBAL. HOWEVER, THIS MOVEMENT IS SEEN MORE IN MEXICO.
