Classroom Clip Chart
In your child’s classroom, a behavior management program
called the clip chart is used. Each child has a clip on the clip chart.
Every student starts their clip on ready to learn or green. The
student has the chance to move their clip up or down throughout
the day depending upon the choices that they make. If a clip is
moved up, it can be moved down if behavior worsens, and visa
versa, if the clip is moved down, it can be moved up if the behavior
improves. At the end of each day, the clip chart is recorded for
record keeping.
Outstanding
(Pink)
Student clipped up three times for showing excellent
behavior and making excellent choices. This is an excellent
level to end the day on.
Great Job
(Purple)
Student clipped up twice for showing great behavior or
making great choices. This is a great level to end the day
on.
Good Day
(Blue)
Student clipped up one time for showing good behavior or
making good choices. This is a good level to end the day on.
Ready to Learn
(Green)
Students begin each day here. The student did not get in
trouble and clip down, or go above and beyond to clip up.
Slow Down
(Yellow)
Students clipped down as a warning of bad behavior. If
your child clips down, please discuss the behavior with
them.
Consequence
(Orange)
Students clipped down twice because of a poor choice. The
teacher will decide an acceptable consequence for this
action.
Parent Contact
(Red)
Students that had to move to red made very poor choices.
Teacher and parent will decide on an appropriate
consequence.
"Tabla Clip" del Salón de Clase
En el salón de clase de sus hijos, se emplea un programa de
gestión del comportamiento llamado "Tabla Clip". Cada estudiante
empieza su clip en "Preparado para Aprender", o verde. El
estudiante tiene la oportunidad de subir o bajar su clip a lo largo del
día, dependiendo de las decisiones que tome. Si un clip se mueve
hacia arriba, puede bajar si el comportamiento empeora, y
viceversa, si se mueve hacia abajo, puede subir si el comportamiento
mejora. Al final de cada día de clase, se registra el resultado, para
tener referencias.

(Rosa)
El estudiante subió tres veces por mostrar un
comportamiento excelente y al tomar decisiones excelentes.
Es un nivel excelente con el que terminar el día.
Buen Trabajo
(Púrpura)
El estudiante subió dos veces por mostrar un muy buen
comportamiento o al tomar decisiones muy buenas. Es un
nivel muy bueno con el que terminar el día.
Buen Día
(Azul)
El estudiante subió una vez por mostrar buen
comportamiento o al tomar decisiones buenas. Es un buen
nivel con el que terminar el día.
Preparado para
Aprender
(Verde)
El estudiante empieza aquí cada día. El estudiante no se
metió en problemas para bajar - ni hizo nada especialmente
bien para subir.
Ve Más Despacio
(Amarillo)
El estudiante bajó como advertencia por mal comportamiento.
Si su hijo bajó, por favor, hablen con él sobre el
comportamiento.
Consecuencia
(Naranja)
El estudiante bajó dos veces por una mala elección. El
maestro decidirá una consecuencia aceptable para esta
acción.
Contacto con los
Padres
(Rojo)
El estudiante que pase al rojo ha tomado elecciones muy
malas. El maestro y los padres decidirán una consecuencia
adecuada.
