Its price can reach up to 4,000€ The most expensive ham of Spain within the II Marbella Luxury Weekend Only 120 pieces have been produced and it belongs to the company Arturo Sánchez, who will also offer guests at the event a selection of Pure Bellota Iberian Ham. Marbella, 23nd of May, 2012.- The opening of the II edition of Marbella Luxury Weekend, which will be held on May 31st, will feature a tasting of Spain’s most expensive ham. Priced at 4,000€, this piece from the company Arturo Sánchez will surely delight those attending the opening party of this event, marked by its international nature. Furthermore, on Saturday 2 nd of June from 12:00 to 15:00, there will be an exhibition of ham cutting, with a selection of Iberian Ham Puro de Bellota (DOP) “Gran Reserva”. Four master cutters will perform a demonstration of how to cut and present plates of cured ham for professionals in the catering sector and for the invited guests. In this way, they will have the opportunity to witness how to cut and prepare an Iberian ham from beginning to end, to make better use of the product and for a better taste of the jewel of Spanish Cuisine. Arturo Sanchez’s ham will be accompanied by two important pieces in the art of cutting and tasting ham. On the one hand, knives from Zwilling J.A Henkel, manufacturers of quality knives for over 280 years, and on the other hand, Afinox for the jamoneros (device that holds the cured ham), the only ones that combine technology and design allowing different positions. The cuisine will be one of the main segments of the II Marbella Luxury Weekend. For example, the restaurant Pravda will be offering an original presentation of Body Sushi; La Pappardella will make a show of Acrobatic Flying Pizzas; the restaurant Black & White will be hosting a fashion show, and Gómez & Molina will delight its clients with different gourmet proposals throughout the four days of activities of the Marbella Luxury Weekend.
