SENIOR MINISTRY NEWS We would like to thank all who attended the 3-part series on Senior Abuse & Mental Health. Hopefully, your view of the issues available resources was of interest and value to you. A side point of interest is that our attendance was recorded and in turn will appear in the annual report the University submits to the State & Federal Governments. An increase in attendance will demonstrate to these funding entities that that SOS program is fulfilling its mandate and justify consideration of an increase in funding to the UNR medical school. We also want to thank Dr. Sina Ward, administrator of the SOS program and her associates for their tireless work on behalf of the seniors of our community & in particular for including the Senior Ministry in the SOS programs. Our next Lunch-N-Learn will be held in May in Righini Hall after the Noon Mass. Spring Cleaning? Please don’t forget the Little Thrift Shop as you go about the annual ritual of greeting Spring/Summer. We would be happy to receive those items that may have fallen from your favorites list, those never used impulse purchases, or your not most wanted gifts and we will turn them into cash that will support our many projects. The Little Thrift Shop is open on Friday and Saturday from 10:00-4:00PM or by appointment. For more information, just call the Parish Office-329-2571 ext. 100 or ED-775-240-0328. Salmo Dios mío, Dios mío, ¿porque me has abandonado?
