Propuesta Preliminar de Plan de Acción para el Decenio de las y los Afrodescendientes en las

Enlace – Segunda Consulta Virtual
El objetivo de esta Consulta Virtual es de ofrecer un espacio a las organizaciones de la sociedad civil y
actores sociales que trabajan sobre la temática afrodescendiente, para presentar insumos y
recomendaciones a la Comisión de Asuntos Jurídicos y Políticos (CAJP) del Consejo Permanente de la
Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA) sobre las Líneas Estratégicas de Acción a nivel nacional
para la elaboración de la Propuesta de Plan de Acción para el Decenio de las y los Afrodescendientes
de las Américas.
Las 3 Líneas Estratégicas de Acción contempladas en la Propuesta de Plan de Acción para el Decenio de
las y los Afrodescendientes de las Américas son las siguientes:
1. Reconocimiento: derecho a la igualdad y la no discriminación; educación sobre la igualdad y
concienciación; reunión de información; participación e inclusión
2. Justicia: acceso a la justicia; medidas especiales
3. Desarrollo: derecho al desarrollo y medidas de lucha contra la pobreza; educación; empleo; salud; y
vivienda
Esta Consulta Virtual estará disponible hasta el miércoles, 13 de abril de 2016.

We are pleased to launch the Second Virtual Consultation with Civil Society Organizations and Social
Actors regarding the Preliminary Proposal for the Plan of Action for the Decade for People of African
Descent in the Americas. Please find below the link to this Virtual Consultation.

Second Virtual Consultation
The objective of this Virtual Consultation is to offer a space to civil society organizations and social
actors that work on the topic of persons of African Descent, to give input and recommendations to the
Committee on Juridical and Political Affairs of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American
States, regarding the Strategic Lines of Action at the national level for the elaboration of the Proposal
for the Plan of Action for the Decade for People of African Descent in the Americas.
The 3 Strategic Lines of Action considered in the Proposal for the Plan of Action for the Decade for
People of African Descent in the Americas are the following:
1. Recognition: right to equal treatment and nondiscrimination; education on equality and awareness;
information gathering; participation; and inclusion)
2. Justice: access to justice; special measures
3. Development: right to development and antipoverty measures; education; employment; health; and
housing
This Virtual Consultation will be available until Wednesday, April 13, 2016
