I have a taste for seeing the power of God at work. That is why today I am talking to you about The Power Of God, that He promised us, The Baptism in The Holy Spirit. The difference between salvation and the on going Baptism Of The Holy Spirit. The promise of the Father Joh 20:21­22​
So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."And when He had said this, He breathed on ​
them,​
and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Luk 24:46­51​
Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high." And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. Act 2:32­33​
This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. Intro:. Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." IT DID NOT HAPPEN ONLY ONCE Act 8:14­17​
Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. Act 10:44­47​
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered, Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we ​

And he told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who said to him, 'Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon whose surname is Peter, who will tell you words by which you and all your household will be saved.' And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. And he said to them, "Into what then were you baptized?" So they said, "Into John's baptism." Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus." When they heard ​

they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. AND IT CONTINUES TODAY Act 1:4­8​
And being assembled together with ​

He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, "which," ​
He said,​
"you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. Y CONTINUA HOY Hechos 1:4­8 Una vez, mientras comía con ellos, les ordenó: —No se alejen de Jerusalén, sino esperen la promesa del Padre, de la cual les he hablado: 5 Juan bautizó con[a] agua, pero dentro de pocos días ustedes serán bautizados con el Espíritu Santo. 6 Entonces los que estaban reunidos con él le preguntaron: —Señor, ¿es ahora cuando vas a restablecer el reino a Israel? 7 —No les toca a ustedes conocer la hora ni el momento determinados por la autoridad misma del Padre —les contestó Jesús—. 8 Pero cuando come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Now concerning spiritual ​
gifts,​
brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant: 1Co 14:1​
Pursue love, and desire spiritual ​
gifts,​
